WollCon's community choir The Conchords join harmony ensemble The Hummingbirds as part of WollCon's Make Music Australia smorgasbord of musical delight! Held annually on 21 June, Make Music Day is part of the international Fête de la Musique, taking place in a thousand cities and places across 120 countries. The daylong, musical free-for-all, celebrates music in all its forms. All events are FREE and celebrate music making at every level - from shower singers and closet air guitarists to professionals at the top of their game.

Leading saxophonist/composer/arranger/bandleader Andrew Robertson brings his Cycles and Sillouettes material to life with jazz luminaries Bill Risby and Nic Cecire, along with rising bassist Matt Lang and jazz songstress Trish Delaney-Brown. Doors open from 6pm.

Part of the "Jazz in the city" festival, Trish will be joined by Jeremy Sawkins (guitar) and Duncan Brown (bass) to bring her signature swinging vibes to an early evening of favourite standards & original tunes. It's FREE!

LYHRA will be special guests at Illawarra’s favourite Christmas carols event! Join Trish, Sam and Bri along with local performers who will lead all your favourite Christmas carols, with the evening concluding with a spectacular fireworks display (weather permitting).

There will be free face painting and activities for the little ones, carnival rides, market stalls, a range of food vendors and a BBQ. Bring the family and celebrate the Christmas season together.

Trish Delaney-Brown from Wollongong Conservatorium of Music will lead the night of carols with the Wollongong City Brass Band, the Hummingbirds, the Children’s and Youth Choir, Southern Brothers Choir and Street Beatz.

Damien Leith will MC the event and will be performing.

Face painting, food and roving entertainment will kick things off at 6.30pm. Stage performances will start from 7pm, and there will be a visit from Santa Claus towards the end of the event, so make sure you stay around!
